WANT TO TEST A SUPPLEMENT?

We are looking for volunteers to test name brand bodybuilding supplements. We pay you cash to allow us to get your before and after measurements. We don’t buy the supplement for you, but our payment at the end of the test will usually pay for all or most of your supplement cost. We know that many of you like to shop at discount supplement and wholesale supplement stores, because price is such a factor. Well, our supplement testing program is almost like getting free supplements. See details below.

WHY WE CHOSE THESE QUALIFICATIONS

1) Live or workout in or near North Fulton County, GA.

We personally meet each volunteer and supervise each test. Because we are based out of the Atlanta, GA area, we can only accept volunteers in this area.

2) a. Have lifted weights on a regular basis over past two years.
This requirement applies for those volunteers testing a strength or muscle building supplement. We don’t want to test beginners because they have so much growth potential without supplements. If someone is just starting to lift weights and he goes on a supplement, how do we know his gains aren’t just from the fact that he is lifting weights now and had nothing to do with the supplement? Sure we could use a placebo with beginners and compare the gains between beginners using a placebo and beginners using the real supplement. However, this type of testing is quite complicated and costly. Thus, for now, we decided to keep it simple and only test experienced weight trainers.

2) b. Have exercised on a regular basis over the past two years.

This requirement applies for those volunteers testing a fat reducing supplement. Similar to the above paragraph, we don’t want to test anyone who just started an exercise program. If you are just starting out, you are going to loss fat, with or without supplements.

3) Have not used anabolic steroids, growth hormone or other prescription drugs that may have altered your physique in the past three months.

This qualification should be pretty obvious. These types of drugs are very powerful and can alter the test results.

4) Have not had significant weight or strength changes in the past three weeks.

Any recent weight or strength changes due to illness, injury, changes in diet or workout routines or other factors can affect the test results.

5) Have not used any body building supplements in the past 2 weeks other than vitamins and protein with the exception of just completing one supplement test and registering no improvements.

We don’t want other supplements influencing the test results of the product you are testing. A possible exception can be made if someone just completes a supplement test and registers no detectable changes. It is then up to our discretion to allow you to immediately start up a test on a different supplement.

6) Will not make any significant changes to your workout routine or diet during the testing period.

Changes in workout and diet can affect the test results. We require you to stick to your normal routines.

7) Will follow the directions on the supplement label throughout the testing period as much as tolerable.

Not following the label instructions can affect the test results. The manufacturer should know better than anyone what the proper dosage should be and when to take the supplement for best results.

8) Will not use any anabolic steroids, growth hormone, prescription drugs or other supplements that might affect the results of this test (this does not include vitamins and protein supplements that you normally take).

Obviously, we are just trying to minimize the variables here. The only thing different that should go into your body is the supplement you are testing. Other drugs and supplements will affect the results.

9) Will remain on the supplement for four weeks or the agreed upon test period.

You can’t go on the supplement late or go off early or take the supplement sporadically. This affects the results of the test and will not give a true indication of the supplement’s effectiveness.

10) Have no affiliation with supplement industry.

We are trying to keep this independent and unbiased. Therefore, if you work in the supplement industry or even work for a publication that generates advertising revenue from the supplement industry, then you will be disqualified.

11) You choose the supple ment you want to test, you accept all risk of injury and you hold Supplementtests.com Inc. and it’s agents harmless for all accidents and injury.

This means that you volunteer for this supplement test under your own free will and that you can not bring legal action against Suppplementtests.com Inc. or it’s agents for any reason as a result of this supplement test.

We will then take your initial measurements. In the second meeting, about four weeks later, we will take your final measurements and document your comments about the product. You will also be required to affirm that the measurements we obtained and statements you gave are yours. Each meeting should take about 5 to10 minutes.

HOW MUCH DO WE PAY YOU?

We currently pay our volunteers $15.00.

WHAT DO WE MEASURE?
